We’ve several reasons to be proud to exist in a world-class metropolis. Montreal is known for its creativity, its gastronomy, its design as well as festivals.
The summer period is specially conducive to discover or rediscover the attractions making it so alive! This summer is no exception since Montreal offers unprecedented activities that satisfy the expectations of the people here and elsewhere.
Town center offers many places for relaxation, conviviality and celebration, particularly with the festivals that happen throughout the summer.
This is a trendy and vibrant place, featuring its 3,000 shops, 1,500 restaurants, 514 terraces, 50 theaters, 21 museums, Mount Royal and St. Helena islands and Notre Dame.
The many malls are also places important to stroll and enjoy the movie available for free, for example, on St. Catherine and St. Paul.
Another nice new feature this year: Montrealers will have their urban beach! Perfectly located at the Old Port, along the Quai de l’Horloge, this range will be the perfect location to enjoy sun, sand, river, and even small flat head of Apollo in the snackbar.
Certainly, there are so many things to do and see in the heart of Montreal, but the four corners in the island also stand out for his or her attractions.
From downtown, the bike path about the Lachine Canal allows you to discover the parks with the West Island and nearby, the landscapes with the Ile-Bizard.
Going east, the area for lifetime, with the Biodome, the Insectarium and Botanical Garden, offers exhibits and activities that will enrich the knowledge of everyone!
The Esplanade Olympic Stadium also offers this coming year a new colorful summer programming, with shows and outdoor events never to be missed.
Quebec’s largest city is important for fun, learn and inspire. Wherever you enter Montreal, we work hard to make sure that the fun and festivities to be there! I invite one to enjoy.
Whether you live in Montreal for a long time, recently, which are just visiting this excellent city, the most interesting corners can readily escape.
Here’s a list of things that may be fun in Montreal. Obviously this depends on the season and your budget. If you have other ideas or suggestions, I will be happy to add them (and try them of course)!
The best place to read a book in Montreal, this is obviously on St-Denis. Maybe can you really find better (ask me), but the concentration of shops used book and record is pretty impressive .. I personally suggest you few addresses, but it’s always fun to enter anyplace that appears to contain books… that knows.
One of my favorite places to roam about in Montreal! Obviously ale reading a book based on the fact of visiting multiple locations, but some bookstore pay more attention than others in their selection, but without being so different, it’s a quality place where I like to go a ride about the occasion, including for small science section which reserves during good surprises. Otherwise I favor their selection table with the entrance which usually contains a few pounds to suit pique my curiosity.
Good meat lovers or culinary adventurers, you have to hit the right place! Montreal is a multicultural place, and food side, we’re spoiled. Here are some interesting addresses, either for pleasure or impress others.
Montreal is the mecca to go out to bars in Quebec. For all tastes, every hour. This is a list of places I visited. Location quieter or louder, it’s choice!
We can not really appreciate that Montreal summer festivals when in full swing. To take in the crowds memorable, filled with images of eyes and ears full of music.
Naturally, I could not fit everything into categories. So here’s museums, activities, along with other things what to do!
Happy holidays
