Previously on Awake Season 1 Show 4 “Kate Is Enough”, While investigating an alleged suicide during an upscale yacht party with Detective Vega, Detective Britten runs in to Rexs former babysitter Kate. Later, in a case Britten is actually investigating with “Bird”, Kate appears again, this time as a new suspect. Dr. Lee and Dr. Evans try to help him make sense of his run in with these two very different versions from the same woman.

On this weeks Show title “Oregon”, Detective Britten suddenly gets a suspect in her own case when an FBI broker, Santoro, questions his methods of searching for a serial killer considered dead. Meanwhile, in the wake associated with her sons death, Hannah is finding comfort in exploring the chance of moving to Oregon and going back to school. Both Dr. Lee and Dr. Evans believe that if Britten moves beyond Los Angeles that his or her healing will progress and this his dreams will fade away.

Michael Britten is stuck within a strange situation where in a reality his wife survived the automobile crash but his kid died. When he falls asleep in this reality, and opens his face again, he finds himself in sort of parallel reality where his wife died inside accident and his daughter survived. Michael has no idea which the fact is real, why this is happening or what he or she is supposed to do about it.

As hes a member of the Police Force hes delivered to a Psychologist to ensure he is ready to handle the strain of ever coming back to work, after such a smashing personal loss. This happens in both realities.

This could soon turn into confusing, so Michael develops a means to keep track of which reality he is in at any moment in time. He wears a natural wristband for when hes from the reality where Rex made it through and his wife, Hannah, died. He wears a red-colored wristband for when hes from the other reality where Hannah made it but Rex died. In the Red reality hes an Asian, male Shrink called Medical professional. John Lee. In the Green reality hes got a whilte female Decrease called Dr. Judith Evans.

Michael has shared his / her dual realities with both Shrinks inside hopes of trying to figure out what is going on and tips on how to move forward. Both Psychologists stress to help him that their the reality is real and the other reality is when hes asleep. They believe he is doing this subconsciously to manage the loss of his or her son/wife. They both try in order to find ways to prove that their reality is real. Michael Britten has no conclusive way to prove which reality is actually real and decides the guy can act as a connect between his son as well as his wife.

Hannah doesnt like the idea that Michael sees their own son in his ambitions. She is trying to advance on with her existence, without the son your woman was forced to conceal. She wants her husband to aid her and she really wants to move house to get off the pain of losing their son. Michael cant move in respect of him Rex is still upstairs, when hes in the Green reality. Hannah is thinking of having another child.
